Small Business, Big Voices, Episode 8: Dee Rudko, AMRCON
This next series of videos occurred after a seminar we gave demonstrating the difference between the types of Facebook pages to business owners in the area. Some had started down the Facebook path by creating their own personal page based on their business, others had created a group page, while still others had created a fan page. Once they had their pages, most didn’t know what to do with it. We helped give them some ideas to implement as their strategy going forward.

Our first interview was with Dee Rudko of AMRCON, who was very excited to be participating in our group.

Dee started his company presence in Facebook using a group page, but realized after our seminar it probably wasn’t the way to go for his company. Since this interview, he’s met periodically with Avelient to discuss his strategy and developing a plan for creating a Facebook fan page for his business. Dee plans to use it to connect with his customers on a personal level, and use it to foster better communication with his support team.
