Announcing: The Web and You Meetup in Central Jersey!
For those of you in the central New Jersey area, we’re starting up a new meetup group based on the information we provide as part of “The Web and You.”
We’re looking to bring together people who are small business owners, or even sole proprietors, who are looking to expand and improve their business presence online using their web sites, social media, search engine marketing and other tools and techniques that are available to help.
This group is not intended for the pure technologist…it is more of a resource to understand and share how web technology can help you as it grows and evolves through its current social media phase and beyond.
Our initial meetup
Our inaugural meetup, set for Friday, June 12 at Espresso Joe’s in Keyport, NJ, will just mainly be for introductions and giving people the opportunity to share what they hope to get out of the group.
One of the topics I’d like to discuss is social media, and how we can use this meetup group to complement social media outlets out there that we can use to express ourselves. We’ll each have the opportunity to share how we use social media, and express advantages about which others in the group may not have thought.
